Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan turns 37 today, on 5th February 2013. Born to star parents Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek made his Bollywood debut with Refugee in 2000. Even though his first film didn’t really click at the box office he went on to give some memorable performances in Hindi films. His role in Dhoom (1 & 2) and Guru have been extremely popular.
After hitting a rough patch in his career, 2012 was indeed lucky for Junior AB as he is fondly called. His film Bol Bachchan not only grossed 100 crore at the box office but also gave him that elusive hit that he was looking for. He has been winning the Best Comic role award for Bol Bachchan at various award ceremonies this season. His 37th birthday today though will be a low key affair owing to death of his best friend Sikander Kher’s father Gautam Berry. In fact the actor also cancelled his shoot to be at his friend’s side.
This year Abhishek will be seen in Dhoom 3, playing the popular chatacter of ACP Jai Dixit once again. He has also been roped in for Happy New Year co-starring Shahrukh Khan. Here’s wishing Abhishek Bachchan a very Happy Birthday and a great 2013!
