Super star Amitabh Bachchan is highly impressed by Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs Of Wasseypur. After watching the film yesterday, Amitabh showered heaps of praises for the film on his blog and twitter. “Just watched Gangs of Wasepur .. what a film ! Manoj superlative, all artists faultless .. Anurag Kashyup’s direction amazing !” wrote Big B.
Amitabh said that the film touched him because it reminded him of the moments that he has been through in his life “The film GOW touched and expanded on a topic that apart from the blood and gore and the violence educated us on a social issue which most of us may never have heard of. The disparities yes, on more social and moral levels, but also on a factor that concerns religion and the evil that exists within most of the polity even now about it.”
Big B further applauded the entire cast for their wonderful performance, especially Manoj Bajpayee “The performances, Manoj Bajpai in particular, and of all the artists right down to the smallest in capacity and presence, has been beautifully done. No one looked or performed out of place. They just did enough and that was effective enough. It was the little moments that were so delicately handled, and many of them were easily identifiable by me in particular because they related to moments that I had been through too.” he wrote.
Thrilled by the appreciation, Manoj Bajpayee thanked Big B for his kind words “Gm.woke up to find mr.bachchan’s msg on wasseypur’s performance.thank you sir!”, wrote Manjo on twitter.
Gangs Of Waaseypur, which released this Friday received good reviews from the critics. However the film has so far failed to garner the audience attention!
