'Apna Bombay Talkies' song is dull and unimaginative!

We have been waiting to watch the Bombay Talkies song ever since we first heard about it. A song celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema starring some of the biggest stars, it was surely the most anticipated song of the year. The video of the track was released last week and to say that we were disappointed from what we saw would be an understatement. The song has average lyrics and what is worse is the way it has been conceptualized.

It features some of the biggest stars in the country – Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Rani Mukherji and many more! And with so many biggies on board they could have done better than this. The video has all the stars singing the song in front of the same background, they do not interact with each other and there’s nothing in the video that excites you or garners your attention.
