The fashionista of Bollywood, Sonam Kapoor turns 27 today. Sonam, who is the daughter of actor Anil Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya in 2007. Even though the film flopped at the Box Office, Sonam was noticed by the filmmakers and she went on to do a number of movies in the coming years. 5 years down the line, the actress is still looking for that elusive hit in Bollywood. Her only commercial success so far has been I Hate Luv Storys opposite Imran Khan in 2010.
Sonam is more known in the industry for her fashion sense rather than her acting skills. She experimented with clothes, brought in new trends and over the years has emerged as the most stylish actress of Bollywood. And so it was not surprising when she was signed by Lo’real as their brand ambassador. Sonam has been a regular at the Cannes Film Festival for the last two years and has impressed the fashion guru and the paparazzi with her fashion sense. Her forthcoming movies include Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Raanjhnaa.
