This Friday we have as many as 8 small films hits the theaters. In fact the list is quite long- Arjun, Love Recipe, Rakhtbeej, Yeh Khula Aasmaan, Dhama Chaukdi, Love Wrinkle Free, MLA- An Inside Intruder and Chutki Bajaa Ke. All the films are likely to open to poorly at the box office. Due to lack of known faces, the films will have to depend on a positive word of mouth. Love Recipe and Love Wrinkle Free seem to be targeted for multiplex audience.
Until and unless one of these films manages to surprise the audience in a good way, cinegoers are likely to watch last week’s releases this week too. Ishaqzaade which released last week is doing well and so is Jannat 2 which released 2 weeks back. Multiplex audience is still interested in watching Vicky Donor, even in its fourth week!
