Box Office: Aiyyaa 1st Day Collections

Rani Mukherjee and her bold act in the promos of Aiyyaa has failed to draw the audience to the theater. The movie which release yesterday had a poor opening of around 20-25% throughout the country. The first day collections of Aiyyaa are in the range of 1.50 crore. The collections have been poor even in Mumbai and Delhi.

The other releases of the week Bhoot Returns, Makkhi, Chittagong etc. were even worse as far as the box office was concerned. Aiyyaa does not  have a very positive word of mouth and will find it difficult to sustain in the coming weeks. It seems it is in “critical conditionum” right now!

OMG! Oh My God remained the first choice of viewers this week too. It’s 3rd Friday collections were higher than the 1st Friday collections of Aiyyaa and 2nd Friday collections of English Vinglish. The movie has been declared a super hit at the box office.
