The team of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn has done it again! Bol Bachchan has managed to collect 38 crore in it’s first weekend and is going strong at the Box Office. The collections are higher than Ajay Devgn’s last superhit Golmaal 3 which collected 35 crore in it’s 1st weekend. In fact the 38 crore figure is the 10th highest weekend figure ever. Here is the 1st weekend breakdown for Bol Bachchan.
Friday: 11.25
Saturday: 12 crore
Sunday: 14.75 crore
Total: 38 crore
The early trends for Monday are also positive, in fact at various places the show occupancy was similar to that on Friday. As per early estimates, the Monday collections are in the range of 6 crore. Bol Bachchan is doing well in Northern India and also in Gujarat and Rajasthan. The movie was panned down by critics however it seems the audience can’t enough of Rohit Shetty brand of humour. The success of Bol Bachchan was most important for Abhishek Bachchan who was desperately looking for a hit and it looks like he has finally hit the jackpot!
