It seems Ek Tha Tiger is on it’s way to break every record at the box office. The film has opened to a massive response all across the country. In fact not a single ticket was available for even a 8am/9am show in most of the cities. Police had to be called at some theaters including one in Jaipur in order to control the crowd.
The movie has taken a 100% opening across the country and as of now it looks like Ek Tha Tiger will establish a new first day record. It might even go past the figure of 30 crore. The film is also being shown at a records number of screens. Believe it or not, Ek Tha Tiger has more than 1250 shows in a day in Mumbai alone! And in spite of such a huge number of shows, Mumbaikers are finding it difficult to get a ticket today.
Many multiplexes across the country are running 15-20 shows in a day. It looks like this trend will continue till Sunday and in that time all box office records will be broken! Stay tuned as we get more updates on Ek Tha Tiger’s box office run.
