Box Office: Heroine opens well but gets mixed reviews!

Kareena Kapoor’s Heroine has managed to open well at the box office. The film saw an average occupancy of 55-60% across multiplexes in the country. The evening and night shows are likely to perform better especially in cities like Delhi and Mumbai. The word of mouth is mixed and it will be interesting to see how much the movie picks up during the weekend. The first day box office collections of Heroine are likely to be around 7 crore which will be the highest numbers ever for a Heroine centric film.

Made on a budget of 32 crore, Heroine was released at around 2000 screens across the country. The response for the movie has been mixed so far. Almost all the major movie critics have called Heroine Madhur Bhandarkar’s worst work as a director however Kareena Kapoor has walked away with all the applause. Basically the script has been called the weakest part of Heroine by every reviewer. The film has got a good opening due to the hype around it also because it was promoted very well. However it needs to hold on well on the weekdays in order to do well at the box office.

Stay tuned for more box office updates on Heroine.
