Box Office: Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola fails to pick up

After taking a slow start, Vishal Bhardwaj’s Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola failed to gain pace at the box office. The movie took a slow opening by collecting only 6.25 crore on day 1. The weekend didn’t see any major jump either with the movie collecting 7 crore and 8 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Friday – 6.5 crore (including the paid preview)

Saturday – 7 crore

Sunday – 8 crore

The collections were steady on Monday with the film grossing 3.75 crore however this was due to a holiday. Looking at the current trend, the collections will go down again on Tuesday. Until and unless it picks up, things aren’t looking too great for Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola.
