Vivek Oberoi who has suffered several flops in the past was quite excited about his upcoming movie Kismat Love Paisa Dilli opposite Mallika Sherawat. In fact the actor had said that KLPD is like his re-debut in Bollywood. However the movie sank at the box office without a trace! Yes, that’s right last week’s release Kismat Love Paisa Dilli has performed terribly and it’s collections are one of the lowest this year. The film could only collect 0.90 Crore on it’s 1st day. The weekend wasn’t any better either with KLPD collecting 0.95 and 1.25 crore on it’s 1st Saturday and Sunday respectively.
In fact the film has performed so badly, that it has been removed from a number of theaters on the fourth day itself! Usually theaters wait for 1 week before coming to any conclusions however they have made an exception in case of KLPD because of it’s terrible performance. The number of shows for the movie have also been reduced and been given to English Vinglish and OMG! Oh My God which are doing well. It looks like the movie will be out from most of theaters by week 1. It’s lifetime collections should be around 5 crore making it a complete disaster!
This is yet another flop for Vivek Oberoi and Mallika Sherawat. We hope their future films do better than this.
