Cannes Film Festival 2013 begins, Vidya to wear sarees!

The Cannes Film Festival 2013 has officially begun and we will be seeing some of our beautiful ladies walk the red carpet in the coming weeks. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been a regular at Cannes for many years now and the actress will once again represent cosmetic giant L’oreal at the platform. Also in attendance will be Sonam Kapoor who will make a hat-trick this year as far as the French film festival in concerned.

Another Bollywood diva, Vidya Balan will make her debut this year at Cannes, she has been chosen as one of the jury members which is headed by Steven Spielberg. However for those who are thinking that Vidya will surprise them at the red carpet are in for a disappointment. The actress said that she will be wearing her favorite outfit once again “I will be wearing sarees forever. My style mantra here is Indian so I am going to do the same at Cannes too. I also wear a lot of Kalidars some of which I am going to wear there too. I stick to my favorite colors like maroon, black, mustard, so you will be seeing them in these shades. Sabyasachi is designing my clothes and Jayati Bose will be doing my styling for Cannes”, says Vidya.

Other than these 3 beauties, director Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar and actress Amisha Patel will also be seen at the event. Amisha will walk the red carpet wearing a Manisha Malhotra creation.

So get ready as Bollywood prepares to dazzle the Cannes Film Festival 2013!
