Ek Tha Tiger will not release in Pakistan!

In news just coming in, Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger will not release in Pakistan. This is definitely bad news for all Salman Khan fans in Pakistan who were impatiently waiting for it’s release. The decision was taken after the censor board of Pakistan watched the movie today. The news was shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh who wrote “Breaking News: No release for #EkThaTiger in Pakistan.”

Earlier director Kabir Khan had confirmed that Ek Tha Tiger had nothing anti-Pakistan in it and he was sure that the movie would get a green signal from the censor board however looks like the officials didn’t share his sentiments after they watched Ek Tha Tiger. Kabir Khan expressed his disappointment over the news while talking to a national daily “It is sad a film that promotes peace and friendship between countries has fallen victim to politics.”, he said.

Ek Tha Tiger was supposed to release in Pakistan on Eid. This is only not a bad news for the fans but also means a loss of 10-12 crore for the makers. Salman has a huge fan following in Pakistan and Ek Tha Tiger was expected to break some records there as well.

We are surprised at this decision considering the fact that Ek Tha Tiger doesn’t have anything against Pakistan. Saif Ali Khan’s Agent Vinod was also recently banned in the country.
