The makers of English Vinglish decided to release the theatrical trailer of their film on Sridevi’s birthday. After all that can be a better birthday treat for her fans than watching their favorite diva back on screen. Sridevi plays a housewife named ‘Sashi’ in the movie who lives in the US and struggles with the English language. As we can see in the promo she has a hard time communicating in the US and even her family makes fun of her. Sashi then decides to enroll herself in a English speaking course. What happens next form the rest of the story!
English Vinglish is directed by Gauri Shinde and produced by R.Balki. The movie also stars Mehdi Nebbou, Adil Hussain and Priya Anand and will release on 5th October.
