Abhay Deol , whose performance in his last release Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was appreciated by one and all turns 
36 today! The actor who belongs to the Deol family (nephew of Dharmendra) made his debut in Imtiaz Ali’s Socha Na Tha in 2005. Though the film didn’t do well at the box office, Abhay’s acting talent was noticed by the film makers.
In spite of being from a filmy background, Abhay has never used his connections to get films. In fact he started off with a small budget film and continued doing films with small production houses and new directors. Abhay has given several memorable performances in films like Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, Ek Chaali Ki Last Local and Dev D . Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was his first big budget movie and his portrayal of Kabir won him rave reviews from the critics and audiences. His next release will be Shanghai, co starring Emraan Hashmi the movie releases on 8th June this year.
