Happy Birthday Aishwarya Rai!

Often touted as the most beautiful woman in the world, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrates her 39th birthday today. Aishwarya was born to parents Vrinda Rai and Krishnaraj in Mangalore in 1973. She started her modelling career in 1991 and went on to become a popular model. However the turning point of her career was when she won the Miss India title in 1994 and then went to to win the Miss World title also in the same year.

Her entry into Bollywood was only a natural progression with Aishwarya delivering some memorable performances in films like Devdas, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Guru. In her long career, she became the face of Indian cinema worldwide and is one of the few Bollywood actresses who is recognized internationally. Ash later married actor Abhishek Bachchan and became the daughter-in-law of one of the biggest families in Bollywood.

Her 39th birthday must truly be special for her since it’s her first with her daughter Aaradhya. We wish the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan a very Happy Birthday and lots of success and happiness in the coming years.
