The news of NDTV Imagine channel shutting down has come as a surprise to many including the producers and directors of their shows. But we think it must be Veena Malik who would have got the biggest jhatka! The channel is shutting down due to its poor TRPs; it lost the race even to newly launched channel Life Ok.
The news is that the channel is shutting down with effect from today and from tomorrow viewers will only get to see the re-runs of their favorite shows. The channel was about to launch the 4th season of Swayamvar- ‘Veena Ka Vivaah’ and this time they had roped in Pakistani actress and controversy queen Veena Malik to be a part of it. Veena had been busy giving interviews on how she wants a husband like Amitabh Bachchan! The channel even said that her Swayamvar had received more than 71,000 enteries but now with the channel being shut we wonder what will happen to Veena Malik and all the prospective dulhas!
We don’t know how serious was Veena Malik to find a groom for herself on national television but what we can definitely say is that she was planning to gain as much popularity as possible with the show. But looks like fate had other plans for her, well all we can say is hard luck Veena! Did we see Rakhi Sawant having the last laugh?
