Kareena to wear Sharmila’s sharara for her wedding!

Kareena Kapoor has decided to follow the traditions for her big day on October 16th. Ditching all the fashion designers the would be Pataudi Bahu has decided to follow the family tradition and wear the same sharara that Sharmila Tagore wore during her wedding to Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.

The tradition was explained to Kareena by her would be mother in law, and Bebo had no hesitation in immediately saying yes to it. The sharara that Sharmila wore has a beautiful zari work on it and she did look resplendent in it. However few changes might be made to it to make it look a bit more contemporary. At the same time, there are also reports that Kareena might wear the dress as it is, without any alteration.

Clearly Kareena could have chosen any of her fashion designer friends to do her wedding outfit, but it seems that for Bebo it’s traditions over trends. Designer Manish Malhotra is expected to design the other outfits for Kareen’a wedding. Have a look at Sharmila Tagore’s sharara. Do you think Bebo will be able to carry this off?     Marriage is very special occasion for any bride.  Kareena  should have every right to choose her own bridal wear.  Sharmila should not impose her decisions on Kareena .
