The sixth season of the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati is getting a thunderous response from the audience. The registration for KBC 6 began today and the channel received 1.5 lakh SMS within 15 mins of the registration question going on air. The news was shared by KBC host and superstar Amitabh Bachchan on twitter “This is fantastic news !! just 15 mins into registration and KBC gets 1.5 lakh registrations through sms .. !!” he wrote on his twitter page.
He also said the channel received almost double the number of SMS compared to the last season ” Whoa…. !!! For KBC registration 1.5 lakh sms in 15 mins .. last season it was 70,000 .. thats like twice more this season ..!!. Every season of KBC is eagerly awaited by the viewers and everyone wants to reach the hot seat and play the game with Mr. Bachchan. The sixth season of the show is likely to start in August on Sony Entertainment Television. Amitabh further shared that the channel has received more than 4.25 lakh SMS in two hours “More news on KBC registration stats : As of 11 PM IST 425k on sms vs 179k and IVR for last year .. this is like serious numbers !!”.
