Unveiling Raj Kapoor’s brass statue in Mumbai, Kareena Kapoor said that his grandfather was biased towards her elder sister Karishma Kapoor because they both had blue eyes while she had green eyes like her father. The occasion was the launch of UTV Stars Walk Of The Stars in Mumbai. Kareena’s father Randhir Kapoor and director Madhur Bhandarkar were also present at the occasion. Speaking to the media Kareena said that her grandfather, the late Raj Kapoor loved her elder sister more and it was hard for her to please him. She told that during summers he would give two mangoes to Karishma while she would get only one!
Posing for the camera by sitting in the lap of her grandfather’s statue, Kareena said that this is only lap that her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan would allow her to sit it. Kareena said that whatever she is today is because of the blessings of her father and grandfather. The Kapoor family was also felicitated at the event.
