Popular TV show Balika Vadhu will now have a new ‘Anandi’. Pratyusha Banerjee who has been playing the character of’ Anandi’ for last 3 years has quit the show. It was earlier reported that the production house was planning to drop the actress from the show however Pratyusha confirms that she left the show owing to personal issues. Talking about her decision she said “I could not give the required time, and that’s why the production house faced a lot of problems. So I discussed quitting five-six months ago. They asked me to wait, as they had to look for a suitable replacement”.
Pratyusha’s mom is not doing well due to which the actress was unable to shoot for long hours and hence decided to quit the show. Talking about her future plans, Pratyusha said that she plans to take a break for sometime before she decides to take a new project.
Viewers will get to see a new ‘Anandi’ from 4th March. Actress Toral Rasputra who was earlier seen in Zee TV’s Chhoti Si Zindagi will now play ‘Anandi’ in Balika Vadhu. Will viewers accept the new Anandi? Let’s wait and watch.
