Actress Preity Zinta has been away from the pubic eye for quite some time now, in fact her last film as a lead was Heroes that came way back in 2008. However the actress is now set to get back into the limelight by performing in the ongoing IPL 5. Though the actress is excited about her performance she is also nervous about getting back to stage after a long break. Tweeting about it she wrote “On 8th #KXIP play Pune & I’ll be performing at the stadium! Doing it 4 Ganesh Hegde who I started my career with n OMG Im NERVOUS !”.
The actress said that the nervousness is obvious since she is performing after a long gap “Its been 3 and a half years since I last performed on stage . Suddenly the butterflies have doubled ….. !!!!”, wrote Preity on the micro-blogging site twitter. Preity is currently busy shooting for her home production Ishqk In Paris. The actress co-owns the Kings XI Punjab Team in IPL and said that will be especially performing for the Pune crowd on 8th “Better give me some love 😉 hahahha ! Am performing after forever ONLY for the Pune crowds 🙂 Ting !”, she further tweeted.
