Actress Priyanka Chopra paid a dancing tribute to yesteryear star Rekha at the recently concluded IIFA Awards in Singapore. Rekha was awarded the Lifetime Achievement award at the show and before handing her the award, Priyanka performed to a number of her hit songs.
The actress enthralled the audience by dancing to Rekha’s super hit songs like ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’, ‘Pardesiya’ and ‘Inn Aankhon Ki Masti Ke’. However the song that had everyone had in splits was ‘Rafta Rafta’. Priyanka brought Rekha on stage and danced with her on this number. An emotional Rekha after winning the award dedicated it to her producers who have always inspired her. She also dedicated the award to the younger generation of actors like Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Chopra and whom she called super talented. The actress said that she is proud to be a part of this film industry. Director Ramesh Sippy was another recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award.
