Rowdy Rathore is breaking records at the box office and even before the film could complete it’s entire run it’s makers are already ready with the sequel. Apparently the sequel to Rowdy Rathore will be titled Rowdy Rathore Returns and will have Akshay Kumar in the lead role once again. The official announcement for the sequel is likely to be made at the film’s success party which will take place on 15th June 2012 in Mumbai.
Rowdy Rathore, directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has collected close to 90 crore in 9 days and is all set to enter the 100 crore club very soon. The roaring success of the film has obviously prompted the makers to think of it’s sequel. The success of the film proved Akshay’s star power, who has had two back to back 100 crore films this year. He is expected to play the lead in the sequel too however whether Sonakshi will be a part of it or not is still unclear. We will have to wait till 15th June to see if the news of Rowdy Rathore sequel is a reality or just a floating rumour.
