A successful real life relationship may not always being success on screen. Various Bollywood real life couples have appeared together in movies and while few have achieved success, the audience has rejected the rest. One such couple is Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The couple who is tipped to tie the knot very soon has just delivered another dud together, Agent Vinod.
Saif and Kareena, popularly known as Saifeena have acted together in 5 movies – LOC Kargil, Omkara, Tashan, Kurbaan and Agent Vinod. The first one, LOC Kargil came way back in 2003 when Saifeena weren’t even a couple, the film was a flop at the box office. The two actors weren’t paired opposite each other in Omkara and so the film’s success could not be attributed to their on-screen pairing. Saif and Kareena’s romance started during the shooting of Tashan but the film bombed at the box office. Even Kareena’s size zero figure could not salvage the film.
However their next two movies totally relied on Saifeena’s real life chemistry to do well. But both Kurbaan and now Agent Vinod were rejected by the audience and this has raised questions about their on screen chemistry and ability to attract the crowd. Saif and Kareena might be a popular pair in real life but looking at the box office result of their movies, it seems the audience is not too fond of them on screen. So the question now is that should Saif and Kareena be doing more movies together? Or are they better doing their own individual movies?
