The trailer of Karan Johar’s next directorial venture Student Of The Year will release on 2nd August. The announcement was made by the director on twitter “The first trailer of STUDENT OF THE YEAR will be out on the 2nd of August…”, he wrote. Karan also mentioned that the shoot for the film is almost complete “Have just 1 day left to complete STUDENT OF THE YEAR….its been an 11 month shoot journey…with lots of fun and debut dynamics!!!”, he further added.
Student Of The Year marks the debut of three actors – Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra and will release on 19th October. The trailer of the film is keenly awaited for many reason. First, it is Karan Johar’s first movie without Shah Rukh Khan so everyone is interested in knowing what different has Karan done in this one. Secondly two of the three actors are kids of famous Bollywood directors! Alia Bhatt is the daughter of director Mahesh Bhatt while Varun Dhawan is the son of David Dhawan. So all eyes are now on these star kids!
Student Of The Year has special appearances by many actors including Kajol, Boman Irani, Ram Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and Ronit Roy. Shah Rukh Khan is also expected to make an appearance in the film though nothing has been confirmed as of now.
