Swiss song no more a part of Jab Tak Hai Jaan

Yash Chopra was supposed to shoot a romantic song for his last film Jab Tak Hai Jaan with Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in the Swiss Alps however destiny had other plans for him. The entire team along with designer Manish Malhotra was to go to Switzerland in October however Mr. Chopra fell it and the shooting was postponed. It was said that the song will be shot as soon as Yashji was out of hospital which as we know now never happened.

Supposedly it was the title track of the film which would have had Katrina in chiffon sarees in Switzerland. However after Mr. Chopra’s unexpected demise we now hear that the song will not be shot at all. It has been dropped from Jab Tak Hai Jaan altogether. A reliable source confirmed the news to a daily “No one wants to touch a single frame of the film. Jab Tak Hai Jaan has acquired a new significance now. Agreed that even earlier Aditya Chopra was overseeing the romantic portions of the film. And in all probability, he would’ve accompanied his father to Switzerland where the song was to be shot. But now with Yashji gone, adding anything in his absence will be inappropriate.” The source also added that since the film’s release is just less than a month away, no one wants to add or change anything in it now.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan will release this Diwali and is Yash Chopra’s last film.
