Talaash opens well at multiplexes!

Aamir Khan’s Talaash opened to a good response at the multiplexes. While multiplexes in some cities performed better than the others, the average was around 70% throughout the country. However the response from single screens was rather disappointing. The average opening at single screens was in the range of 40%.

But we aren’t surprised with Talaash not doing too well at single screens after all it’s not a masala entertainer targeted at the masses. Success of Barfi this year has proved that a film can score big at the box office even if it only clicks with the urban audience.

Let’s see how Talaash picks up over the weekend!
