Melody queen Alka Yagnik celebrates her 47th birthday today, on 20th March. The ace singer who has been a part of the Indian film industry for more than three decades has given India cinema some memorable songs. Alka Yagnik has sung thousands of songs, not only in Hindi movies but also in various other Indian languages. In her long career, the singer has won several awards including 7  Filmfare awards for best playback singer and 2 National film awards.
