TB Birthday Special: Arshad Warsi, The Complete Entertainer!

Birthday boy Arshad Warsi is a complete entertainer in the truest sense. From acting to dancing to singing, this all-rounder has impressed one and all with his talent. In fact he is currently working on his own script and will be soon donning the Director’s cap! On his birthday today let us take a look at what makes him so special.

The fabulous actor: Arshad Warsi is one actor who slips into a character effortlessly and brings it to life on screen. A complete natural, the actor has taken the audience on a laughter ride through his performances in movies like Munnabhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munnabhai, Golmaal, Golmaal Returns and Dhamaal. However it is not only the comic performances that he excels in, he has proved his versatility by successfully attempting other genres as well. His roles in Kabul Express and Ishqiya were well appreciated by the critics and audience.

The spontaneous host: They say that to be a good TV host one should be spontaneous and be able to connect well with the viewers. Arshad was all that and more in the first season of Bigg Boss! The reality show became a big hit and according to us Arshad as the witty host was one of the best parts about it. Five seasons and four hosts down the line, Arshad Warsi remains the best host of Bigg Boss for us. He outwitted the contestants fair and square!

The amazing dancer: Arshad started his career as a choreographer and also won the fourth prize in ‘Modern Jazz’ dance form at the World Dance Championship in London in 1992. Though he doesn’t get to showcase his dancing skills much in movies these days he has been definitely using his talent to judge dancing reality shows like Zara Nach Ke Dikha and Dance Premier League.
