If Bollywood ever had to appoint a brand ambassador for its dance, there will probably not be a better candidate than Madhuri Dixit for it! Not only are her dance moves perfect, her expressions are all the more flawless and that’s what makes her Bollywood’s most graceful dancer. On her birthday today, we decided to list five of our favorite Madhuri Dixit dancing numbers. Have a look and let us know which one is your favorite! They are in no particular order because it is really difficult to rate her dances!
Ek Do Teen from Tezaab: This was Madhuri’s first hit dance number which brought forward her dancing talent in front of everyone. Decades down the line, the song still remains everyone’s favorite.
Chane Ke Khet Mein from Anjaam: We love her dance in this one because first of all she looks adorable in the green and brown lehenga-choli and secondly her expressions are perfect to the T. Madhuri brings alive the naughtiness of this song on-screen.
Mera Piya Ghar Aaya from Yaraana: Her amazing eye moves are definitely the highlight of this song and the signature dance step is like the cherry on the top. You can imagine her twinkling eyes every time you hear this song.
Maar Daala from Devdas: Bollywood mujra is all about adayein and nazaakat which Madhuri has in plenty in the song. She looks like a million bucks and performs like a dream!
Dhak Dhak Karne Laga from Beta: The song is the best example of how to dance to a sensuous and sexy number without looking vulgar or cheap. Today’s actresses can probably learn a thing or two from this one!
Special Mentions: Choli Ke Peeche, Aaja Nachle, Didi Tera Dewar Deewana, Kahe Ched, Badi Mushkil, Palki Mein Hoke, Humko Aajkal Hai, Maye Ne Maye. Like we said when it comes to Madhuri’s dance it’s indeed difficult to make a list!
