Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra’s Teri Meri Kahaani failed to get a flying start at the Box Office. The film could only collect 5 crore on day 1 of it’s release. The maximum collections came in from Delhi and Mumabi. The film as expected performed better at multiplexes, the single screens were poor.
The 5 crore figure is actually 1.5 crore less than what Shahid’s last film Mausam collected on it’s first day. The reports coming in for the movie are not too encouraging. The movie has received average reviews from the critics and the word of mouth doesn’t look great either.
The other release of the week, Gangs Of Wassepypur collected 3 crore on it’s first day. The film has however picked up on Saturday and is likely to see improvement in collections. We will keep you updated on the box office status of these films!
