Teri Meri Kahaani – Three songs, Three love stories!

Teri Meri Kahaani stars Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles and is a love story set across three different generations – 1910, 1960 and 2012. The actors are sporting different looks for every era and the movie is being promoted with the tagline “Thrice Upon A Love Story”. The makers have released 3 songs so far – one from each generation love story. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that each song has it’s own flavour typical to the era that it is representing. Let’s take a look!

1. Humse Pyaar Kar Le Tu (1910): The song is from the 1910 love story and is sung by Mika Singh and Shreya Ghosal. Shahid is wearing a pathani kurta and Priyanka looks lovely in salwar-kameez. The song has a nice old melody to it.

2. Jabse Mere Dil Ko Uff (1960): The song is from the 1960 love story and has a very retro feel to it. Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan have sung it in the true 60s style.

3. Mukhtasar (2012): This song is from the 2012 love story and has been sung by Wajid. It has a classical touch to it and was the first song from the album to be released.

So which is your favorite songs from the three? Do you like the melodious melody of “Humse Pyar Kar Le Tu” or are you impressed by the retro beats in “Jab Se Mere Dil Ko Uff” or the contemporary “Mukhtasar” blows you away?

It’s a tough choice for us, but we will probably go with “Jabse Mere Dil Ko Uff”. We quite like the way Sonu and Sunidhi have sung this one! We look forward to your views on this.
