We can’t help but wonder where the lovely lady is!
After making a good debut with Cocktail, model turned actress Diana Penty is nowhere to be seen. Diana won accolades for her performance as the sweet and simple “Meera” in Cocktail. Her performance got her nominated for the Best Debut award in almost all award shows this year. Not only that her performance was also praised by the critics, and the movie was super hit at the box office. After giving a fine performance in a hit movie, the actress has been totally missing in action.
Diana has not signed any new movie, in fact there were rumors that she has been offered Sohail Khan’s next opposite Salman Khan but there has been no official confirmation on that yet. Other than that, we haven’t heard of any new project for which Diana has been signed. And that is not all, we haven’t seen Diana at any of award shows. It is surprising considering she was nominated for the Best Debut and her presence was expected especially because these were her 1st Bollywood awards . We don’t even see her at parties, events and not even on our Television sets.
A beautiful face, decent acting in her 1st film – what could be possibly stopping directors from signing her? And more than that, we wonder why Diana has totally vanished from the circuit. We hope to hear some news from her soon!
