Bollywood has seen some back to back hits recently in the form of Ek Tha Tiger, Raaz 3 and now Barfi. While the success of Ek Tha Tiger was expected, Raaz 3 and Barfi have rather been surprise hits especially Barfi which is a different film in every sense and even then was able to win the heart of the viewers. This week’s release Heroine is expected to carry on the box office success streak. Will it be able to do so? Looking at the current scenario, the odds are definitely in it’s favour.

For starters, Heroine has been in news for too long. First it was offered to Kareena Kapoor who rejected the film and then it went to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. However Aishwarya later opted out of the film owing to her pregnancy and this made national headlines. It was then speculated that director Madhur Bhandarkar might not even make the film any more. But as destiny would have had it, Madhur once again approached Kareena and this around she said yes to the project. The Heroine promos have caught the audience attention because of some strong dialogues mouthed by the leading actress. And if that was not enough, Madhur has also roped in a item number ‘Halkat Jawani’ to attract the masses!
Kareena has been busy promoting the movie everywhere, and when we say everywhere we literally means everywhere. We have seen her on innumerable TV shows, reality shows etc. Sure the girl is leaving no stone unturned to make Heroine a success. With so much going for it will Heroine succeed at the Box Office or will it face stiff competition from last week’s release Barfi which has a great word of mouth and is going exceptionally well currently.
