The next poll is for the Best Actress Of 2012 (Female).

It wouldn’t be wrong to say that 2012 would be remembered as the year when we saw strong performances from our lead actresses.

Living up to the expectations, Vidya Balan delivered yet another stunning performance in Kahaani. The thriller went on to become one of the biggest hits of the year and Vidya was tagged as the new ‘Khan’ of the industry. Then came Deepika Padukone who gave her career best performance as ‘Veronica’ in Cocktail.

Priyanka Chopra also gave one of the memorable performances of the year as ‘Jhilmil’ in Barfi. Her portrayal of an autistic girl was loved by the audience and was also critically acclaimed. She is definitely one of the top contenders to bag the Best Actress award this season.  2012 also saw the return of Sridevi in English Vinglish and the audience couldn’t stop raving about her spectacular performance in the movie.

Our next nominee for the best actress is Katrina Kaif for her sincere performance as ‘Meera’ in Jab Tak Hai Jaan. And last but not the least in our list is Kareena Kapoor for Heroine. Even though the film didn’t really click at the box office, Kareena’s performance definitely stood out.
