Box Office: Teri Meri Kahaani has a slow start, Gangs Of Wasseypur lags behind

The two releases of the week – Teri Meri Kahaani and Gangs of Wasseypur both had a slow start at the Box Office even though  the opening for Teri Meri Kahaani was better due to popular actors Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor in it. While the collections for Gangs Of Wasseypur were in the range of 10% for the morning shows, Teri Meri Kahaani did better with 30% collections. The evening shows are likely to be better.

Teri Meri Kahaani has actually opened lower than Shahid Kapoor’s last release Mausam which is surprising considering Priyanka is a bigger star than Sonam and also Shahid and Priyanka are quite a popular onscreen couple among the cinegoers. The movie has received average reviews from the critics and it would be interesting to see how much it can pick up on Saturday and Sunday.

Gangs of Wasseypur on the other hand has got good reviews from the critics but sadly the audience doesn’t look too interested in it, at least not till now. Stay tuned for more box office updates on Teri Meri Kahaani and Gangs Of Wasseypur.
