There has been a lot of speculation about the leading lady of Balaji-Dharma Productions next. Emraan Hashmi was signed as the lead actor for this romantic drama last year. It was then said that Kareena Kapoor will act opposite him in the movie however after few days there were reports that Bebo has backed out because she was not too sure about appearing on screen with Emraan Hashmi. There were then talks about Deepika Padukone replacing Kareena but looks like Mrs. Khan finally changed her mind and said yes to the project.
Tanuj Garg, the CEO of Balaji confirmed the news on twitter “For those asking, the untitled Balaji-Dharma romantic drama is taking off in September. Starring Emraan Hashmi & Kareena.”, he wrote. Well this is one pair we are so looking forward to in 2013. Also, it’s good to see Kareena do films with actors like Emraan rather than sticking up with the khans all the time.
