Imran and Akshay in sequel to Once Upon A Time In Mumbai

The star cast for the sequel to the 2010 hit Once Upon A Time In Mumbai has been finalized. Akshay Kumar had already been finalized for the movie however the search was still on for the parallel lead and now it looks like that the search has finally ended on Imran Khan. That’s right Akshay Kumar and Imran Khan will be sharing the screen for the very first time in the sequel to Once Upon A Time in Mumbai.

Director of the movie, Milan Luthria feels that the pairing of Akshay and Imran will be crucial in pulling in the crowds. He says  “The uniqueness of pairing Ajay Devgan and Emraan Hashmi in the original made people sit up and applaud. By casting Akshay and Imran together for the first time, we’ve pulled off the casting coup of the year. Both the stars are diverse in their appeal, style and presence. Just like Akshay, Imran was electrified by the script that Rajat (Arora) and I have worked on”

We will have to wait and see if this sequel is as good as the original. The movie is expected to release by early next year.
