Jab Tak Hai Jaan to be banned in Pakistan?

After Agent Vinod and Ek Tha Tiger, Yash Chopra’s last film Jab Tak Hai Jaan might be the next in line to get banned in Pakistan. Rumors are that the film might not get a release in the country as SRK’s character plays an Indian army man on mission in Kashmir. The trailer of the movie shows SRK walking in front with several bombs blasting behind him.

It is a known fact that a portion of the movie has been shot in Kashmir and it seems SRK playing an army man posted in Kashmir might land the film into trouble in Pakistan. Jab Tak Hai Jaan has not been seen by the censor board yet. A final decision will be taken only after the movie has been viewed by the members of the Pakistan Censor Board.

Earlier this year, Ek Tha Tiger was banned in Pakistan even though the movie had nothing anti-Pak in it. Apparently it was banned because it talked about ISI and it’s activities. Shahrukh Khan is hugely popular in the country and his fans will definitely be disappointed if Jab Tak Hai Jaan is eventually banned.

We will keep you posted on this.
