UTV’s latest release Kai Po Che had a fantastic first weekend at the box office. The movie which consisted of newcomers has grown from strength to 
strength owing to positive reviews and excellent word of mouth. Kai Po Che has collected around 17 crore in 3 days which is fantastic for a film which doesn’t boast of any stars.
Here’s the 1st weekend box office collection for Kai Po Che.
Friday – 4 crore
Saturday – 6 crore
Sunday – 7 crore
Total – 17 crore nett
The movie is doing exceedingly well at multiplexes in big cities. The other release Zila Ghaziabad had a slow start but failed to pick up over the weekend unlike Kai Po Che. Even though it performed better at single screens, the multiplexes were dull. The 1st weekend total for Zila Ghaziabad is around 10 crore nett.
