Newbie Varun Dhawan has injured himself on the sets of Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year. Apparently the actor was shooting for an action sequence in which he injured himself badly. He was rushed to a hospital and was diagnosed with a nose fracture. The injury has halted the shoot of Karan’s Johar film which was scheduled to wrap up by 16th May.
It is not known as to when Varun will be able to resume the shoot. The situation has indeed turned tricky for director Karan Johar who had to cancel the shoot. Approximately 10 days of shoot still remains, including a song. Student Of The Year marks the debut of Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. Karan Johar is quite excited about directing new faces for the very first time in his career.
Student Of The Year is to release on 19th October, however this injury might postpone the release too. We wish Varun a speedy recovery and good luck to the entire cast and crew of the movie.
