Who will play Madhubala in Kishore Kumar’s biopic?

Director Anurag Basu is busy hunting for the actress who will play Madhubala in his upcoming film. The director’s next is a biopic on legendary singer Kishore Kumar and Ranbir Kapoor has already been signed to play the lead however no one has been finalized yet to play the beautiful Madhubala. Talking about his search to TOI, Anurag said “I am hunting for Madhubala but it is too early to talk about it. Casting happens two to three months before we start shooting. The film is in its initial stage and would probably release next year”.

There were reports that Katrina Kaif has been roped in to play Madhubala however the director confirms that nothing has been finalized yet. Kangana Ranaut’s name has also been doing the rounds but we will wait for the official announcement.
