After a not so successful Bollywood career, actress Aamna Sharif is back on television. Aamna who once enjoyed immesnse popularity on the small screen as ‘Kashish’ from Kahiin To Hoga left TV to try her luck in Bollywood. She made her debut with Aloo Chat in 2009 opposite Aftab Shivdasani, who she was rumored to be dating. However the film didn’t click with at the box office and Aamna was unable to impress the audience. Her next films Aao Wish Karein and Shakal Pe Mat Ja also couldn’t do much for her.
She is now back to doing what she does best, acting in TV soaps. Her new show is titled ‘Honge Judaa Na Hum’ and will air on Sony Entertainment Television. It is being said Rakesh Vashisht who was last seen in Star Plus show ‘Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak?’ will play the lead opposite her.
Well we hope that her second innings in Television is as successful as the first one. TV audience still remember her as ‘Kashish’ even though the show ended in 2007. Kashish and Sujal (played by Rajeev Khandelwal) are still one of the most loved couple of Indian television. Will Aamna will able to recreate the same magic with her new show? We wish her good luck!
