Actors Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna were blessed with a baby girl today. This is their second child after their son, Aarav who is 10 years old. The news was confirmed by Twinkle’s mother Dimple Kapadia who said “Twinkle was blessed with a baby girl this morning”. Later Akshay revealed that his daughter looks like Twinkle “We are blessed with a lovely baby girl who looks just like her mother and grandmother. I have no words to express my happiness. I would like to thank everyone for their blessings and best wishes”, he said.
Twinkle delivered the baby at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Tuesday morning. Akshay who was in Jaipur to promote his upcoming movie OMG! Oh My God cancelled all his commitments to be with his wife and new born child. Akshay and Twinkle got married in 2001. Bollywood stars have been sending in their good wishes to the star couple through twitter. “Many many congratulations to @akshaykumar and Twinkle on the birth of their baby girl. Lots of love guys.”, wrote Abhishek Bachchan. Akshay’s co-star Sonakshi Sinha was also quick to send in her wishes “OMG!!! It’s a baby girl for @akshaykumar and Tina!! Many many many congratulations…can’t wait to see the little princess :)’, she wrote.
