Madhuri Dixit to play a gangster

Looks like Madhuri Dixit is on a signing spree! After bagging the lead role in Vishal Bharadwaj’s Dedh Ishqiya, the actress has now signed a women oriented film to be directed by Soumik Sen. The new film is titled Gulab Gang and will see Madhuri playing a gangster. If sources are to be believed the film will also star Shabana Azmi, Raveena Tandon, Tabu and Mahie Gill.

“Have signed second film called Gulab Gang! Go girl power!! Anubhav Sinha to produce, Soumik Sen to direct. Excited!!” wrote an excited Madhuri on twitter. The actress has been quite busy ever since she relocated back to India. She has been taking her comeback rather seriously and looking for good projects and scripts. The actress will also be seen judging the next season of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Ja.

Well with Dedh Ishqiya, Jhalak Dikhla Ja and now Gulab Gang looks like the gorgeous actress is set to return to showbiz with a bang!
