No more Golmaal: Rohit Shetty

The director of super successful series Golmaal, Rohit Shetty has declared that he won’t be making any more Golmaal films, at least not for the time being. In an interview the director said that Golmaal will not be a part of his next three films “I have stopped making Golmaal now. I don’t know for how long. But for my next three films, no Golmaal happening.” said Rohit.

Golmaal is one of the most successful film trilogy in Bollywood. The first Golmaal came in 2006 and was followed by Golmaal Returns (2008) and Golmaal 3 (2012). All the three Golmaal films have been super successful with Golmaal 3 making it to the 100 crore club. The director is right now busy promoting his next directorial venture Bol Bachchan which releases on 6th July.

Well the Golmaal fans might be disappointed by the news but we think that Rohit Shetty has taken the right decision because while Golmaal 1 was funny, the other two tried hard to be funny! The director should wait for the right script to make the next film of the series.
