Race 2 has exceeded expectations at the box office. The movie which released this Friday had a good first day of 14 crore but it picked up on Saturday which was a national holiday in India. In absence of any other major release, Race collected 17 crore+ on Day 2. The three day collections are in the range of 46 crore which a healthy total.
Here is the 3 day total for Race 2.
Friday – 14 crore
Saturday – 17.5 crore
Sunday – 14.5 crore
Will the movie be able to collect 100 crore at the box office and become the 1st to do so in 2013? Race 2 opening figures are the biggest ever for a Saif Ali Khan film. This is also the biggest opening for Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez.
