Rowdy Rathore is a blockbuster, crosses the 100 crore mark!

Akshay Kumar’s Rowdy Rathore has crossed the 100 crore mark in India on the 10th day of its release. The movie collected 10.5 crore on Sunday, taking it’s second weekend collection to 22 crore. The second weekend collection is the third biggest ever, with only 3 Idiots and Dabangg ahead of it. The second weekend is way higher than Agneepath and Housefull 2 which were the biggest hits of the year so far.

Here is details on the 2nd weekend collection of movies in 2012.

Rowdy Rathore: 22 Crore

Agneepath: 15,5 crore

Housefull 2: 19.5 crore

And here is the 1st and 2nd weekend collection of Rowdy Rathore.

1st weekend: 48 crore

2nd weekend: 22 crore

This is Akshay’s second 100 crore movie in a row. His previous release this year, Housefull 2 also did 100 crore+ business in India. Given that the word of mouth for Rowdy Rathore is super good, the movie might finish it’s lifetime business at 135 crore+. The movie is already a blockbuster and the biggest hit of the year.
