Bollywood is all set to entertain you with some big movies this August. The month will see some of the most anticipated movies of the year including Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger. Let’s take a look at some Bollywood biggies that are releasing in August 2012.
Jism 2 (Release Date – 3rd August): Pooja Bhatt’s Jism 2 has been making headlines ever since it was announced. Reason? Only one, Sunny Leone. The Indo-Canadian adult film star makes her Bollywood debut with Jism 2 and her dare bare scenes in the promos have already stunned one and all. Director Pooja Bhatt might beg to differ but there’s no denying that Sunny Leone is one of key reasons why people are looking forward to Jism 2.
Gangs Of Wasseypur 2 (Release Date – 8th August): The first part of Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs Of Wasseypur released in June and the second part will now release in August. It’s not a sequel but the second part of the movie. As the movie was more than 5 hours long, the makers decided to release it in two parts. The first part did reasonable business at box office. Let’s see how the second part fares at the box office.
Ek Tha Tiger (Release Date – 15th August): It is not only the biggest film of August but also the biggest film of the year. Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Yash Raj Films come together for the first time and it truly can’t get bigger than this. Ek Tha Tiger is expected to break all possible records at the box office. Considering it’s releasing on a holiday, expect it to have a humongous first day. It seems there’s nothing that can stop this one from being a blockbuster!
Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi (Release Date – 24th August): Director and choreographer Farah Khan makes her acting debut with Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi. The movie is a love story about a middle aged couple and stars Boman Irani and Farah Khan in lead roles. We think the promos of this one are super cute and this is one film that we are so looking forward to. Are you?
Joker (Release Date – 31st August): The month will end with another biggie, Akshay Kumar’s Joker. The movie is Shirish Kunder’s mega ambitious project which is full of special effects and aliens! The story is about a village named Paglapur which doesn’t even exist on the Indian map however circumstances bring it to the focus of the world. Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha have already had a blockbuster this year in the form of Rowdy Rathore. Will this be the second one?
